The sunny terrace in Amsterdam East at Pizza Heart Bar is not only open in the evening, but also for lunch! If you haven’t heard of this Italian place yet, you’re in for a treat. You go here for wines and antipasti on the terrace, the best pizzas, and finish with espresso and tiramisu. All available as vegan, of course.

The taste of the cheeses with the antipasti genuinely surprised us; “Is this really not made from cow’s milk?” So even for the non-vegans among us, try the plant-based option! You might discover new favorites…
Of course, we didn’t stop at just one pizza. We got various antipasti, bruschetta, and pizzas to share. Party! We couldn’t decide on our favorite. The whole-grain pizza with mushrooms and vegan mozzarella was very tasty, but the one with bell pepper, walnuts, and eggplant was too…
At Pizza Heart Bar, they don’t just have pizzas. You can also enjoy delicious salads and parmigiana. And yes, they have a vegan version of the latter as well.

Pizza Heart Bar is located at Schollenbrugstraat 8, near Amstel station by the water. They are open every day until 11 PM and on weekdays you can also visit for lunch.
