Vegan pizzas at Mastino in Amsterdam
We love Italy and especially the Italian cuisine. And luckily there’s a very nice place in Amsterdam where you can enjoy this Italian cuisine. Yes, okay, we hear you thinking ‘aren’t there 100 nice Italian restaurants in Amsterdam’. True, but this is a special place. Why? There are vegan dishes (did someone say vegan pizza?!) on the menu. For example, you have the ‘pizza veggie’ with lots of (organic) vegetables and vegan cheese or the vegan pizza calzone! Mega tasty! Fun to know: at the location on Bilderdijkstraat you can also eat gluten-free. All pizzas are handmade and the regular pizzas are made with spelt, multigrain, and soy.
Not only is the food delicious, the atmosphere in Mastino is also very pleasant and the staff, including the Italian chef with an iconic Italian accent, are really super sweet! Everywhere there are small vintage items hanging or standing. You can also come here to buy small gifts. Think of pasta, lemonade in a beautiful bottle or even our book, YAY!
