Sap Bagel & Juice Bar – Stationsstraat 8
We felt at home immediately because The Green Happiness and juices… that’s a match made in heaven. The cozy welcome sign on the pavement practically pulled us inside. Then it was just a matter of choosing which juice to take. We tried the Morning Greens (cucumber, spinach, and pear) and the Tropical Yellow (with pineapple, yellow pepper, and apple).
Of course, there’s more than just juices available at this hotspot in Maastricht. As the name suggests, there are also delicious bagels, fluffy muffins, your daily dose of salads, and tea. We’re fans!
De Brandweerkantine – Capucijnenstraat 21
Lunching in a former fire station, how atmospheric can you get? It has been completely transformed and now has a fun retro style with all sorts of cozy corners. We had a delicious sandwich with artichoke tapenade with sautéed vegetables and a pita bread with falafel and raw vegetable salad.
Not everything on the menu is vegan, but they can adjust this for you. A perfect place to let your friends taste a vegan recipe!
Bijzonder – Luikerweg 33
For a good lunch, you’re in the right place at Bijzonder. Raw crackers, soups, homemade bread, muffins, and so on. With pure and honest products, everything tastes even better. Making a choice from the menu is difficult, so be sure to come back again. Or choose to do some food sharing. Order some dishes and share away!
