Coconut oil: not only ideal for various kitchen experiments, but also great for your beauty routine!
You often find it in our recipes, but what else can you do with coconut oil? Well, a lot! It’s not only in our kitchen cabinet but also in the bathroom. Curious? We have listed 6 of the many beauty tips with coconut oil for you!

Scrub
Mix 3 tbsp of coconut oil with 6 tbsp of sea salt (or 6 tbsp of sugar from a stray package). Stir it until a smooth paste forms and drip some essential oil on for a nice scent.
Supple Cuticles
Rub a bit of oil on your cuticles and massage it in.
Aftersun
You can apply it in pure form on the skin as aftersun, or make your own mixture with, among others, aloe vera and pure essential lavender oil. In both cases, coconut oil primarily has a nourishing function, keeping the skin supple and thus less painful.
Cold Sore Prevention
Coconut oil has antibacterial properties, so it can also come in handy for a cold sore. Dab a bit of coconut oil on the spot where the cold sore has appeared. This prevents the skin from becoming dry and cracked. It makes the process less painful, and the skin heals much faster!
Hair Mask
By applying coconut oil to the ends of your hair, letting it soak in well, and rinsing with lukewarm water, you nourish the hair ends.
Make-up Remover
Rub a damp cotton pad over the oil and use it to remove eye makeup. Not only is your face clean in no time, but it also helps improve the moisture balance in your skin, resulting in fewer bags, dark circles, and/or wrinkles. Win-win!
